Learning is Fundamental

The Root Center for Advanced Recovery offers a professional growth program to enrich the careers of team members through training and continuing education initiatives across a variety of platforms.

Tuition Reimbursement

Full-time employees in good standing are eligible for up to $1,500 ($750 for part-time employees) per year for training or educational activities relevant to the employee’s position within the organization. We’ve found that this benefit is a great way for team members to further their formal education, utilizing the funds for tuition reimbursement.

Group Gatherings, License Renewals, and Certifications

We routinely cover employees’ expenses associated with webinars, conferences, license renewals, study guides, tests, and certifications.

In-house Trainings

In addition to the education employees can receive through formal learning and industry groups and associations, the Root Center is committed to hosting an assortment of in-house trainings for staff. Topics include self-care, LGBTQ rights, trauma-informed care, diversity, and others.

Access to Relias Learning

All employees have access to the Relias Learning platform, which features a vast database of online training that cover everything from personal health to clinical best practices.

Support From Leadership

The importance of training and growth is an organization-wide belief that starts with our leadership team and carries through to the books, pamphlets, and other learning materials conveniently placed throughout our facilities. Supervisors work with each team member to explore their goals and offer guidance in helping to reach them.
