Program Overview

Patients who engage in services with the agency MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment Program) will be assigned to a primary counselor and will receive at a minimum one counseling session per month, an individualized recovery plan with ongoing updates, and a variety of support groups to choose from.

All patients are required to attend the 2 orientation groups within the 1st 60 days of treatment. New patients who meet criteria for the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services may be scheduled for that upon admission and as indicated during treatment as well. Initially, all new patients will attend daily, except for Sundays when clinics are closed. During treatment, patients may earn take-home bottles as they progress in treatment and will no longer need to attend daily.

Patients who engage in the IOP services will initially be assigned to attend 5 days per week Mon-Fri for a 3-hour time frame. The program includes a variety of recovery-related topics and group interaction. Over time when patients are stabilizing in recovery, they may be reduced to attend 3 days per week. The typical duration of IOP service is 6 to 8 weeks in length.

Clients are assigned to a primary counselor who will navigate the completion of an individualized recovery plan, discuss and review the treatment process, and start scheduling individual counseling sessions. Each client is scheduled for counseling at a minimum of once per month. Counseling sessions will focus on the recovery plan goals, coping skills, support, and aftercare planning.
Treatment consists of medication assisted treatment if applicable, individual counseling, intensive outpatient treatment, groups, recovery planning, as well as random drug and alcohol testing.
Ongoing support is provided at the clinic on both an individual level and group. Clinic Supervisors, Counseling staff, and Nursing are available to assist clients as needed.
