Resilience: Bouncing Back and Staying Positive in the Face of Adversity

June 25, 2020

Resilience helps us to move through hardships, process trauma, and find meaning in daily life. Our baseline level of resilience is often developed in early childhood in response to our environment and relationships with our caregivers; but even as adults, we can practice mindfulness, self-care and positivity to strengthen our capacity to bounce back after adversity.

As we face the difficulty of staying home and social distancing, I challenge you to be gentle with yourself, roll with the punches, and try to find moments of lightness and laughter despite the rain 🌈🌧❤️
