Amy Di Mauro, LCSW has been in practice since 2001. She was most recently the Clinical Director and student internship coordinator at Rushford. She is a graduate of Springfield College School of Social Work. She completed her undergraduate degree at UCONN. Amy is a Graduate Professor at Quinnipiac University, she is on faculty at University of St. Joseph’s School of Social Work as a preceptor, and Boston University School of Social Work as a Regional Advisor.
Amy is the former President of the National Association of Social Workers, CT Chapter and she is currently the Regional Representative for CT and NYC to the NASW National Office Board of Directors. Additionally, she serves on the advisory board for Springfield College SSW. Her experience has been in working with, designing, implementing and administration of programs to treat people across the lifespan using Evidence-Based Practices including MST, Seven Challenges, Medication Assisted Treatment, DBT, as well as other traditional therapeutic models and levels of care. Besides clinical operations to ensure the highest quality of care, Amy is passionate about Social Justice and advocacy. She has chaired Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Councils to end discrimination and the problems related to health inequity.
Amy has moderated and presented on several panels and workshops at conferences in CT and NYC on topics related to children and families as well as adults with Substance Use and/or Mental Health symptoms.
