Root Center presented a check for $50,000 to Foodshare today to help address food insecurity in Tolland and Hartford counties; this amounts to a total of $100,000 in support this year!  Root’s donation will provide approx. 125,000 additional meals for local families. It’s a wonderful thing when non-profits support non-profits!

We then recently celebrated the end of the year with our annual staff holiday party. It was a great time to get together and have some fun with music, food, raffles, and good company!
