Root Center Middletown: Washington Street

Root Center on Washington Street in Middletown is our newest Clinic. We opened our doors in February of 2024. We are proud to be the first and only healthcare clinic in Middlesex County to offer methadone, along with many other mental health and addiction treatment services. This new clinic will serve roughly 600 people and allow many to be able to seek treatment in their own community. We are excited and honored to be expanding our footprint in Middletown and look forward to continuing to help those in need with these crucial services.

We provide a person-centered approach to those struggling with mental health issues and/or substance use. We are not only excited to be able to provide treatment to Middlesex County, but also, provide a space for those in the community to come "home" and have access to treatment without the barrier of transportation. We utilize evidenced-based approaches in order to support you on your path to well-being. We offer many services to meet your needs that include group therapy, intensive outpatient programming, individual therapy, medication management, and family therapy. Medication assisted treatment is also available, with a range of options including Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, methadone, and others.
