Margaux Farrell

CHIEF OF STAFF

Margaux Farrell is the Chief of Staff for the Root Center. Margaux is responsible for all marketing, public and media relations, social media, events, and community engagement endeavors at the organization. She came to the organization in 2019, and started as the Marketing Director, a position she held until March of 2024, when she was promoted to Chief of Staff. 

 

Prior to coming to Root Center, Margaux was a television journalist, and worked as a morning news anchor at FOX61, the local Fox affiliate in Hartford, Connecticut. Since leaving TV, Margaux has used her journalism background to help in her roles at Root by strengthening our communication and media efforts across multiple platforms, including the production of our emotional testimonial videos with our patients that you can see here.

Margaux received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University, where she was a Division I, multiple time All-American swimmer. She then received her master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California after competing in the 2012 London Olympic Games, where she earned a bronze medal in the 4x200 meter freestyle relay, representing France. Margaux is a dual citizen of France, and competed internationally not only at the Olympics, but at the European Championships and World University Games from 2010-2012.
