Jennifer brings almost a decade of eclectic financial leadership experience in the nonprofit healthcare industry to the Root Center. She completed her Master’s Degree in Public Health at the University of Connecticut Health Center as well as her Graduate Certificate in Public Financial Management at the University of Connecticut and has her undergraduate degrees in both Political Science and History from Eastern Connecticut State University.
Ms. Succi is passionate about supporting the communities that she lives and works in and has previously served as the Chair of Suburban Professionals Achieving Real Change (SPARC) of the CT River Valley Chamber of Commerce, the President-elect of the Connecticut Public Health Association (CPHA), as well as a member of the Board of Directors on the UCONN Health Center Public Health Alumni Board.
Throughout her professional career, Jennifer has primarily served in financial leadership positions among organizations whose purpose is to improve access to and deliver high quality, comprehensive, wraparound care to all walks of life. These experiences have included supporting the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) and FQHC look-alike health centers in CT, as well as serving and strategically growing an FQHC look-alike in CT. Besides her financial oversight, Jennifer has professional experience planning and implementing quality improvement projects to optimize health outcomes and financial performance, strategic planning, grant writing, as well as developing and implementing leadership development programming.
